Where oh where to begin?! Week one in Zambia has been absolutely incredible. We got to Lusaka late Sunday night and stayed in a hotel. We were picked up Monday morning by Katie (our long term missionary) and taken to the village where we were able to meet the kids and separate out the donations. Tuesday we were able to start our sports camps and devotional. The kids were so excited because they've never really had anything like it. They were all so eager to learn about the new skills we were teaching them. This continued through the week as we lead them in the word and in the sports. My favorite part of this week was being able to be a part of each cottages nightly devotionals. At one of the cottages I was asked to speak a little. I was able to present the gospel to a cottage full of older boys. After I was done with praying, one of the boys told me he had accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He said he has always known God in his head but never knew him personally in his heart. I walked home that night with tears in my eyes. God is moving here in Zambia not only in the kids lives but ours as well. God is teaching us so much in just this short time. God is giving us an opportunity to grow our personal faith while sharing the gospel with these kids. Please continue to pray for us these next two weeks and for the kids here. -Nichole Duncan, Team Zambia To God be the Glory! Apply to join a future MOAM Mission Trip!
